Assistant Professor Wang Zixuan of the Faculty of Education Invited to 2025 ANZALS Conference

Assistant Professor Wang Zixuan of the Faculty of Education was invited to attend the 16th Biennial Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Leisure Studies (ANZALS), held from December 1 to 4, 2025, at the University of Technology Sydney in Sydney, Australia. The conference theme was “Exploring Leisure Landscapes: Trends, Transformations, and Traditions.”

At the conference, a paper co-authored by Assistant Professor Wang, titled “The Mitigating Effect of Arts on the Relationships of Bullying Victimization, Risky Behaviour, and Life Satisfaction Among Children and Youth,” was selected for oral presentation. A team member presented the findings on the potential role of arts engagement in mitigating the negative effects of bullying on children and adolescents.
