In a milestone achievement, the recently released 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject saw Education at City University of Macao appear on the list for the first time, securing an impressive position in the 251–300 band globally. Among 830 top universities worldwide, the Faculty’s debut at this prominent rank represents authoritative recognition of its overall academic strength and international influence, marking a historic step forward in the Faculty’s disciplinary development.

Administrative Team’s Vital Support
Smooth operation of teaching and research would not be possible without the dedicated support of the administrative team. In this round of commendations, an administrative staff member of the Faculty received the “Outstanding Administrative Staff Award” for efficient, professional service and a conscientious work ethic. This honour acknowledges not only individual efforts but also the entire administrative team’s significant role in ensuring daily operations and serving the needs of faculty and students.

These collective achievements are the result of the unified and concerted efforts of all members of the Faculty of Education – faculty members dedicated to research, teaching staff, and administrative colleagues alike – each demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of educators through concrete action. This cohesive spirit drives the Faculty’s continual breakthroughs on the path to research innovation and talent development. The Faculty will continue to uphold its educational philosophy, forging ahead to create further excellence in nurturing talent and advancing knowledge.
