Meta-Analyses of Empirical Research in Education

In the field of education, there is a massive amount of empirical evidence generated each year. However, there often exist contradictory results on the same research topic, which gives rise to challenges in evaluating the effectiveness of various pedagogical strategies, making important educational policies, and selecting appropriate instructional methods or tools to enhance student learning. In response to these concerns, our research team conducts meta-analyses of empirical research, which quantify the magnitude of treatment effects, to investigate the efficacy of prevalent pedagogical interventions in different contexts and the moderating effects of critical factors.
