This is an international collaborative research project, involving scholars from China, Canada, and the United States. Following a research-to-practice model, this project aims to:
§ Develop an open-source cognitive tool that promotes development of argumentation and critical thinking skills.
§ Investigate how argument visualization can be used to facilitate teaching in different disciplinary areas and how it fosters achievement of various learning objectives.
§ Compare how students of different characteristics benefit from interacting with argument visualization tools.
