Professor Magdalena Mo Ching Mok is Chair Professor (Adjunct) at the Graduate Institute of Educational Information and Measurement, National Taichung University of Education. In parallel, she is Senior Fellow of Analytics\Assessment Research Centre, and core management member and professional advisor of the Centre for Christian Faith and Development at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), Hong Kong. Magdalena received her PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong, MSc Degree in Statistics from the University of Glasgow, and BSc Degree in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to retirement from EdUHK, she served as Chair Professor at the Department of Psychology, and inaugural Director of the Assessment Research Center, EdUHK. Magdalena taught at Macquarie University in Australia for 11 years before taking up academic positions in Hong Kong. She was Editor-in-Chief of Educational Psychology: An International Journal of Experimental Educational Psychology (2012-2019). Magdalena published extensively and supervised numerous doctoral and master’s students. Her recent work includes the co-authored book《學生不自殺:「多謝你們救了我!」》[Prevention of Student Suicides: Thanks for Your Helping Hands]. Guided by the conviction that young people are the backbone and hope of the country, Magdalena is committed to promoting self-regulated learning, and moral cultivation among primary and secondary school students.
